- How does the central dogma explain the relationship between DNA, proteins and inherited traits?
- Why must DNA replicate faithfully?
- What steps are involved in the production of protein from the DNA strand?
- I can describe the structure and function of DNA. (Try this as well)
- I can describe the process of DNA replication, transcription and translation and how each plays a role in protein production.
- I can predict the consequences that mutations in DNA of genes may have on an organism.
- I can describe the difference between inherited mutations and mutations that are not inherited.
